Event Preview: one of the first victims of last year’s COVID-19 lockdown, Kartsport New Zealand’s Mainland Series has over 60 karters signed up for the three weekend/six round series that kicks off with a double-header this weekend.

Karting NSW has released its 2021 rule books. There are six publications; the overall KNSW Rules & Regulations, plus a handbook for each of five specific disciplines of the sport – Sprint, Enduro, Speedway, Retro and Vintage.
Sixty-seven drivers, covering all manner of racing experience, took on a 4-hour endurance race at Wollongong on Saturday. Amazingly, the top 4 teams all finished on the same lap, just seconds separating the top three.
This Saturday the Kartsport Wellington club hosts the second annual New Zealand Briggs National Endurance Championship meeting at Gazley Raceway. Can the 334 laps completed by last year’s winner be beaten?
