Reid Appointed to Motorsport Australia Board
Samantha Reid, one of the Directors on the Board of Karting Australia, has been announced as one of three new appointments to the Motorsport Australia Board.

KNSW Rotax Clarification
Karting NSW issued a clarification via social media yesterday regarding its stance on the Rotax situation. Confirming it will not sanction a Pro Tour series, the organisation re-iterated an earlier announcement it will still offer Rotax classes at its race meetings.

KNSW Says No to Rotax Pro Tour
Karting NSW will not sanction a Rotax Pro Tour series in 2023. The governing body posted the following statement on its website confirming a proposed agreement between it and RaceMax Pty Ltd will not go ahead.
New KA Board Appointments
Former F1 Race Director Michael Masi and commercial lawyer Melissa Holzberger have returned to positions with Karting Australia, the national body announcing today that both have been appointed seats on the KA Board.

KA100 Restrictors Now Available
IAME Engines Australian importer Remo Racing has confirmed that the new 22mm Exhaust Restrictor to be used in the IAME KA100 engine for the KA3 Junior Classes is now available.

Latest FIA Karting Updates
At its meeting on 7th December 2022 in Bologna, Italy, the FIA World Motor Sport Council took the following decisions based on the proposals of the International Karting Commission.
