Dalby Kart Club ran the second round of its 2020 club series on Saturday. The event was dubbed ‘The Corona Titles’, but as Kev Davies points out in his race wrap video, this was done as a bit of fun and not to make light of the current situation.
In what was possibly the last kart race meeting in Victoria for some time, the Stony Creek Kart Club held its March club race day on Saturday, March 21.
Due to today’s Government announcement of further restrictions to mass gatherings, all AIDKA events have been cancelled effective immediately.
Karting Australia sanctioned kart racing in Victoria will cease, probably through until June. Karting Victoria has just distributed the following to its licence holders.
The opening round of the 2020 Sparco Rotax Pro Tour will not take place this weekend, Karting Australia citing a reluctance from competitors to travel interstate in the current COVID-19 climate.
