Mat Kinsman claimed his 10th New Zealand title – and second in the tough KZ2 category – at the 2022 New Zealand National Sprint Championships at a very wet Wellington on the weekend.

The sixth round of the Ipswich City Dirt Karts championship was run on Saturday and into Saturday night. It was another big day with 70 entries across the 4-Stroke and 2-Stroke Championships.
Driver PR – Cadet 12 racer Riley Harrison has been having an outstanding year, and on the weekend added third place in the Australian Kart Championship to his list of achievements.
Driver PR – Nose cone penalties played a big part in KZ2 at the AKC final round last weekend, but despite this, Reece Cohen ended up having a strong final in Newcastle.
Driver PR – In just her second year of karting, Australian Kart Championship rookie Zara Horn set specific goals for her 2022 campaign. After the final round, she was happy with her progress.
Clear Blue skies greeted competitors at Queensland Raceway recently for the fourth round of the Queensland Superkart Club’s 2022 series, which, for this round, was run as part of the Australian Motor Racing Series.
Driver PR – Despite not achieving the win at the final AKC round he was aiming for, Jack Beeton had other important news to reveal – a spot in the Ferrari Junior Driver Academy Camp in Malaysia next month!
Driver PR – A snapped axle in one of the heat races ruined Max Chudasko’s chances of a strong result in TaG 125 at the final round of the Australian Kart Championship on the weekend.
Driver PR – Going in to the final round, 15-year-old racer Alex Ninovic was trailing the KA3 National Champion, Jace Matthews by 3 points. But it didn’t take the Sydneysider long to start turning that around.
Team/Driver PR – DJM Race Engineering lead driver Toby Dvorak has had a super AKC campaign in KA2 Junior. Here’s the duo’s season wrap which resulted in Vice-Champion status.
Driver PR – 17-year-old Kiwi Nathan Crang will take plenty of confidence from strong form across the Tasman in the final round of the SP Tools Australian Karting Championships in Newcastle.
Team/Driver PR – James and Aiva Anagnostiadis, two of the best young drivers in the country, contested the KA4 Junior and KA3 Senior classes respectively as they looked to finish their 2022 Australian Kart Championship in style.

Driver PR – After showing excellent pace at the Newcastle City Cup three weeks earlier, James Lodge returned to the venue for the final round of the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship.
Driver PR – A couple of drop-down bumper penalties really threw a spanner in the works for Declan Matthews in his effort to claim third in the 2022 Australian Kart Championship.
