A couple of Aussies have been performing well overseas the past week. Griffin Peebles celebrated his final event in the Mini class with a podium at the latest Italian Championship round, while Lachlan Robinson just missed the podium at the second round of the BNL Karting Series in Belgium.

Hot Qualifying at Euro Championship

Top Trio Claim Goldstar Triple Crown
You could call it the annual Manawatu & TRC Toyota WPKA Goldstar kart racing series’ ‘triple crown’, and despite being incredibly hard to achieve, at the final ‘Championship’ round of the 2020/21 series at Palmerston North last Sunday three drivers – Riley Jack, Jay Urwin and Jackson Culver – had done enough to claim one each.

RMC Euro Trophy, Round 2
Australian Lachlan Robinson finished 5th overall and just missed a podium in Final 2 of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy round at Adria Karting Raceway last week.
European Championship, Round 2
The fourth edition of the International Handikart Trophy was part of the French round of the European OK and OK Junior championships last weekend. The event also featured the first disabled driver to take part in an FIA European Championship race. Unfortunately, Aussie James Wharton missed the OK final.
