Six kart clubs in Western Australia are set to benefit from a State Government election commitment to improve safety and accessibility at karting club facilities.
Karting WA is seeking submissions for tender to design, construct, deliver and install a minimum of six first aid facilities that are in a transportable/modular format and include a Universal Access Toilet (UAT).
These will be for the Bunbury, Tiger (Cockburn), Esperance, Eastern Gold Fields (Kalgoorlie), Lake King and
Impala (Tom Price) kart clubs.
Karting WA Incorporated has overall responsibility for the delivery of the project, which is administered through the State of Western Australia acting through the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (CTIS).
“This project forms part of the 2025 WA State Government election commitment to improve safety and accessibility at karting club facilities” Karting WA posted.
“The tender covers full concept design, detailed design, manufacture, transport, installation, and compliance documentation for identical modular buildings at Bunbury, Cockburn, Esperance, Kalgoorlie, Lake King, and Tom Price.
“Respondents must provide architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing design; construction methodology; delivery logistics; compliance documentation; and a complete pricing schedule.

“All works must meet the National Construction Code, Building Act WA 2011, Karting Australia requirements, and relevant accessibility standards.”
Submissions must be lodged electronically and close at 12:30pm AWST on 12 August 2026.
