FIA Karting Appoints ETS Racing Fuels as Fuel Supplier to Continue Powering Karting with Sustainable Fuels

The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) is pleased to announce a new agreement with ETS Racing Fuels as the exclusive sustainable fuel supplier for FIA Karting championships, including the Mondokart.com FIA Karting World Championship this season. This agreement advances the record of FIA Karting as one of the first FIA disciplines to adopt sustainable fuel and contributes toward the FIA’s long‑term strategy to accelerate environmental innovation throughout the sport.

From this season, all karts competing in FIA Karting OK, Junior, OKN and KZ European and World Championship events will use Renewablaze® K1 R100, ETS Racing Fuels’ advanced sustainable racing fuel derived from biomass waste. The fuel is a drop‑in solution, enabling teams and mechanics to operate with tuning parameters comparable to traditional fuels while achieving a more than 55% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

ETS Racing Fuels brings extensive experience in sustainable fuel development through collaborations with leading race series and manufacturers. The Haltermann Carless Group holds the FIA Three‑Star Environmental Accreditation, the highest level of recognition for environmental performance in global motor sport.

Supporting FIA Karting’s environmental objectives beyond the circuit, ETS Racing Fuels will also power their operational logistics with sustainable diesel, including fuel transport to race venues, further reducing the overall carbon footprint of FIA Karting.

“We are proud to support FIA Karting as it continues to lead the way in sustainable motorsport. This partnership is a strategic opportunity to engage future top drivers with advanced fuel technologies from the start of their careers. Our Renewablaze® K1 R100 fuel demonstrates that high performance and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand, and our ETS trackside laboratory will ensure consistency, quality, and a level playing field across the grid.”

Jacob Nortoft, FIA Head of Karting, said:

“FIA Karting aspires to contribute to a more sustainable future for the next generation, both on and off the track. As one of the first FIA championships to implement fully sustainable fuels, this agreement with ETS Racing Fuels strengthens our commitment to innovation, responsibility, and long‑term environmental progress. We look forward to welcoming ETS to the paddock as they power the rising stars of global karting.”

This agreement follows ETS Racing Fuels’ appointment as exclusive supplier to the FIA European Rally Championship, the first regional rally series to adopt 100% sustainable fuel beginning in 2026. With performance, reliability, and sustainability at its core, the introduction of Renewablaze® K1 R100 marks another major step toward a cleaner, more responsible future for motor sport.
