The Top Gun Driver Academy team has confirmed it will use Tony Kart chassis for its 2026 Australian Kart Championship campaign.
Established in 1999 by Troy Hunt, Top Gun has not previously had an exclusive chassis deal with a manufacturer. But, with Hunt now heading up the Australian division of OTK and with factory support from Tony Kart in Europe, it’s a logical and not unexpected move.
23-year old Cody Brewczynski was recently been appointed Team Manager of the NSW-based Top Gun Racing Team.
“We are super excited to have the support of OTK Australia” he posted. “The last 12 months has seen a real resurgence of OTK and we are excited to be a part of that.
In addition to its AKC effort, Top Gun will also contest and support numerous events in NSW with OTK equipment.
OTK Kart Australia Director Troy Hunt told Speedcafe – “We’re thrilled to have them officially represent Tony Kart in NSW and continue to grow the OTK presence in the region.”
