Round 9 of Ipswich City Dirt Kart Club championship was sponsored by BRK Dirt Karts Willowbank.
Once again everyone did an outstanding job keeping the day running smoothly. 95 entries for the day was great considering a lot of drivers had other events on.
Our drivers put on one heck of a show. The grandstands were full with spectators cheering everyone on. Congratulations to our Driver’s who had their first wins – it was safe to say there were a few happy tears in some parents’ eyes.
The drive of the night would hands down have to go to Danny Townsend in the 125cc Group B class. He took to the lead a couple laps in and drove like a champion to hold off the rest of the pack, especially the last few laps. It was a sensational drive.
The next events at the circuit are both Test-N-Tunes; Saturday the 13th and Saturday the 20th of September. Round 10 of the club championship is on October 4th.
