Australia’s William Calleja has finished runner-up in the OK-Junior category of the 2025 Champions Of The future karting series.
Entering the final round at Kristianstad, Sweden, Calleja was leading the points. However, the final round was a relative disaster for the Forza Racing driver, not qualifying for the final or scoring a single point. This saw him lose the title to Prema Racing’s Noah Baglin.

“Really grateful to finish as the 2025 Champions of the Future OKJ Vice Champion” he posted. “Thanks so much to my team for all your support in this series — I couldn’t have done it without you.”
Queensland’s Sebastian Eskandari-Marandi (Ward Racing) qualified 36th in OKJ and progressively moved up the field, taking 11th place in the final.
In the massive 100+ OK category, James Anagnostiadis lifted himself from a mid-pack qualifying to eventually cross the line 7th in the final. Unfortunately, a nose cone penalty dropped him to 13th, but this elevated fellow Melbournian Lewis Francis to 12th. Returned from injury, Francis ended the Championship placed 8th overall.
These four Australians, plus three extras, are entered for the OK and OK-J World Championship at the venue this week.
