Karting WA has reinstated the track licence for the Tiger Kart Club’s Cockburn International Kartway.
“This is a great milestone for our Club, and is the result of considerable hard work, coordination and significant investment” the club posted.
“We would like to sincerely thank all of our members for your ongoing efforts and patience throughout this time. The support and contributions from so many of you have played a vital role in getting the track to where it is today.”
Although the licence has been reactivated, the club has decided to ease into track usage.
“We are closely monitoring the condition of the circuit – particularly the newly laid lawn and recent works – to ensure everything is ready for regular use.

“This approach will protect the improvements made, and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.”
The next Club Championship event for Tiger Kart Club will be held at Cockburn on Sunday, August 3. Entries are now open.
