message from IKD

Our final count has been completed since the Blue Datto Foundation Enduro on the weekend. A big thank you to our second place-getter Connor Roberts who has generously donated back $1500 of his prize money as well as SP Tools for making up the difference that has helped us reach a staggering $25,000 in total for The Blue Datto Foundation.

Again, we need to thank our sponsors, EvoHeat, Zed Corse & ASP Piling Pty Ltd for putting up the prize money in the Senior Max Class.

We need to thank the local kart shops that donated prizes and auction items, these being, DPE Kart Superstore, Project X Racing, Power Republic, JC Kart and KAOS Karting.

Other donators included, Red Bull Holden Racing Team, Shane van Gisbergen, Scott McLaughlin, Chaz Mostert, James Courtney, Hall & Co Solicitors, Official Memorabilia and Collectables, IKD, Castrol, Rhys Kinder & Method Race Wheels.

To all of the IPSWICH KART CLUB committee & members and the Karting Australia volunteers who donated their time and knowledge to help the meeting run smoothly, thank you for working tirelessly to help make this event one to remember and setting the benchmark for future charity endurance events.

To Colleen & Elise from the Blue Datto Foundation, thank you for joining us track-side & helping out all weekend, but most importantly thank you for letting us be apart of helping make a difference. There was 200 competitors who hadn’t heard of the foundation that now know the name, the cause and the aim.

We cannot wait for next years edition of the Blue Datto Enduro but for now, we are looking forward to the Christmas break so we can re-group, re-focus and make 2020 an even better year in Karting.
