Around sixty karters contested the RKA Victorian State Championship across four categories at Geelong a week ago. It was also the opening round of the RKA DPE Kart Superstore Oceania Series.
“This meant there was fabulous close competitive racing in all four classes, the Weather Gods were kind to us and the track was in great condition for everyone to have a fabulous retro weekend” The Noise reported.
Clubman Light racer Lucas Hinz was very lucky not to be seriously hurt when he had a big off at the fast 90-degree pit corner in the pre-final – see video, below.
