Karting Queensland has advised former State Vice President Don Ingram passed away late last year.
Ingram was Senior Vice President of Karting Queensland from 2012 to 2014.
“Those that had the pleasure of meeting Don would remember him as being a sharp, intelligent and caring person” posted Ashley van Waardenberg, a past Karting Qld President.
“Don was extremely humble and contributed significantly to the Karting QLD community through his administrative role, bringing authenticity, justice, and gleanings from a diverse career with QLD Police, Engineering and as an innovator.

“Don was a team player and natural mentor without a need for formalities or frontline acknowledgement, and there is much to be said for this. He was a true volunteer to the sport.
“Outside of karting administration, Don was a keen sporting enthusiast more broadly, a kart racer himself and father to karter – Alistair Ingram.”
Ingram succumbed to Motor Neuron Disease and leaves behind wife Jenny and immediate family Alistair and Daniel.
