from Kev ‘The Noise’ Davies
2026 has kicked off with a bang! Ipswich City Dirt Kart Club has started the year with a record attendance for a club day round, and what a day of racing it was.

Ange from the club advises that Round One for the 2026 season attracted 140 entries, the pit area was loaded and the racing was on point. Unfortunately, the event started two hours late due to power outages in the timing hut. Some technical issues with the new transponders gave the club no choice than to drop a heat for the day – “but we will get that sorted and be all good to go for Round Two”.

Next event is a Test-n-Tune on February 21, followed by Club Championship Round Two on Feb 28.
