Ipswich Kart Club hosted the “Future Champions Clinic” on Saturday the 17th of January with 35 participants taking part, a large percentage of which were Cadet P Plate drivers, including 19 x Cadet 9 and 6 x Cadet 12.
These numbers are a continuation of the strong Junior Development Program ran at IKC and bringing so many new Cadet drivers into the sport.
The Future Champions Clinic provided a great day of on track tuition from driver trainers William Yarwood (Project X), Derek Jones (Power Republic) and Jack Munro (Brisbane Karts) plus some great off track sessions on kart preparation and maintenance for the parents by Scott Gray (Project X)

With so many new Cadet P Plate drivers transitioning through practice to racing at Ipswich Kart Club, Round 2 of the IKC Championship on Saturday the 7th of March will feature the return of the specific Cadet P Plate only Class and it is expected there will be quite a large field of entries.
