Junior Top Guns at Oakleigh opened the 2026 race season for over 170 drivers last week. Run over two events on Friday and Saturday afternoons, it once again attracted strong interstate competition and lots of drivers competing with the big professional teams.
WA’s Jack Okely won the chassis draw while Adam Bourke and Graham Scudamore were recognised for their invaluable contributions to the Oakleigh club over many years.

174 drivers and their teams headed to the Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club for the opening race of the 2026 Karting Victoria racing season with the annual Junior Top Guns event this year sponsored by Parolin taking place on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th of January with racing heading into the night under lights.
Congratulations to racer Jack Okely on winning the annual chassis giveaway at this event provided by event sponsor Parolin.
Congratulation to long time Oakleigh Karting stalwart Adam Bourke on being acknowledged by the club for his amazing dedication and contribution he has made to the Oakleigh club and the sport of karting as a whole here in Victoria over many decades with the Oakleigh Go-Kart Clubs grid being named in his honour, “Bourkeys Grid”.
