KNSW press release

Karting is the sport where everyone belongs. At Karting NSW, our aim is simple: to provide opportunities for people from all backgrounds to participate, compete, and enjoy the strong community that makes karting so special.

That commitment to inclusiveness is reflected in our premier events. Both the Dunlop Kart Stars Championship and the NSW State Title are open to all competitors who hold a Karting NSW competition licence — regardless of where you’re based. Whether you’re a local racer or travelling in from another region, you’re welcome on the grid.

The Dunlop Kart Stars Championship spans seven rounds at seven tracks across New South Wales, taking competitors on a true statewide journey. From the stunning south coast at Bega to the regional heart of the Manning Valley in Wingham, the series showcases the diversity of karting venues across the state. In 2025, the championship attracted nearly 1,000 entries, and we look forward to welcoming even more competitors in 2026.

In 2026, the NSW State Title will be hosted by Orange Kart Club in the picturesque Central West. The circuit is the longest continually licensed kart track in NSW and is rich in history. Former Formula 1 driver Mark Webber has even named it his favourite kart track. The event will once again be held on the October Long Weekend, running from October 2–4.

Karting NSW welcomes competitors, families, volunteers, officials, and supporters from all walks of life. Whether you’re chasing a state title, gaining experience, or simply enjoying being part of a passionate motorsport community, there’s a place for you at Karting NSW.
