Ipswich Kart Club will kick off the 2026 Club Championship with the Cadet Titles on Saturday the 31st of January and with entries only being opened on Thursday night, over 200 have been received so far, with Cadet 12 and KA3 Junior Light already at capacity (To get on the wait list for these classes, contact Race Secretary Jody Zaal at racesecretary@ipswichkartclub.org.au )
There will competitors from far and wide with entries already in from across Queensland and a strong contingent of drivers from across New South Wales and even entries from Victoria and South Australia.
In Cadet 9 with over 20 entries already it will be some exciting racing with those towards the front of the field likely to be Emerson Mills, Woj Krupinski, Leo Milligan, Hagan Moon, Jacob Ding, Hugo Jones and Harry Lack.
There will be many strong contenders for the podium in Cadet 12 from the likes of Felix Sim, Brock Nolan, Kenichi Morita, Knox Black, Carter Grother, Riccardo Johnston, Jarvis Hindle, OJ Walton, Luke Robinson, Harlen Bell, Frankie Majorek, Lenox Carson and RJ Bellbowen.
Round 1 of the club championship will also be Round 1 of the Pineapple Cup Series for KA2 Junior and X30 Senior and strong early entry numbers will ensure these are big fields come race day.
