Following the success of the inaugural Dunlop Kart Stars Championship in 2025, Karting NSW is gearing up to deliver an even bigger and better series in 2026. The championship will kick off at Canberra Kart Racing Club from 31 January to 1 February 2026, launching a seven-round calendar across New South Wales.

More than $30,000 in cash prizes will be on offer throughout the 2026 season, highlighted by the popular Teams Championship, which again carries a $10,000 cash prize for the winning team. Competitors will also have the chance to win a set of Dunlop DHH tyres and a tyre bag via random draw at every round.

“We gave away over $44,000 in cash in 2025 and we’re excited to do it again in 2026,” said Karting NSW General Manager Russell Becker. “This year we’ve spread the class prize money across the top three podium finishers to ensure more competitors share in the rewards, while the iconic black plate will once again go to the class winner.”

“Dunlop is once again proud to be partnering with Karting NSW to continue to grow grassroots motorsport in NSW,” said Les May, Director, Dunlop KartSport, “With the success of 2025, we’re looking forward to seeing what 2026 will bring”.

Karting NSW has committed additional resources in 2026, with increased support for officials and promotional staff on the ground at every round. Competitors can also take advantage of a series entry option, offering a saving of $185 when entering all seven rounds upfront.
