Nicholas Schembri finished third in the premier 250cc Division 1 class of the British Superkart Grand Prix at Donnington Park last weekend.
The Melbournian raced with the UK-based Parker Motorsport team on an Anderson chassis with support from its manufacturer, Russell Anderson. But he also had some of his local crew in his corner.
“My incredible mechanic Dale Williams from Williams Racing Superkart Team for being my absolute No.1 who exactly knows what my Superkart needs and believes in my ability and determination to win” Schembri posted.
“I believe we are the first Australians to finish on the podium in 250 Div.1 Superkart at British GP.”

The GP was won by the dominant Liam Morley (Anderson/VM) over Harpham (MA Kart/Harvey) and Schembri.
“Definitely not the easiest of weekends of racing, but with a lot of persistence and determination we achieved a podium result” he added.
Schembri’s next event is this weekend at The Bend for the 2025 Australian Superkart Events for the 2025 Australian Superkart GP.
