Karter’s Drift Top Ten

Victorian KA3 Junior competitor, 12-year-old James Flynn, has returned to Australia following the first round of the Japanese G1 Grand Prix drifting series.

Now in his third full season of Japanese competition, James made the step up to G1 after two seasons in the Ebisu Drift Series where he finished second overall in the EDS Challenge championship last year.

G1 is the largest gathering of international drifting competitors in the world.  The first round attracted 50 adult drivers from more than a dozen different countries.

Driving his 300 horsepower turbo Toyota 86 James battled his way through to the Top 8 and finished in 7th place overall.
