Campbell Triumphs in USA

Queensland’s Hamish Campbell enjoyed a win at Round 2 of the 2025 RMC Winter Trophy at the Orlando Kart Centre in Florida last weekend.

Competing in Junior MAX, Campbell finished 9th in the Round 1 final on Saturday. An elevated performance on Sunday saw the OTK driver take 5th place and set fastest lap in the pre-final before carding a podium in the 16-lap Round 2 final. This turned into victory as the top two received front bumper penalties.

Campbell sits fifth on points with the round 3 and 4 event running this weekend. A Grand Finals ticket will be awarded to the winner.

“Matt McLean had the OTK Chassis on rails even though track conditions were tough, but we managed to stay focused and make the most of every opportunity. I’m grateful for everyone’s support, and I’m excited to keep building on this momentum.”

Currently sitting 5th in the championship, Campbell is only 46 points adrift from the leader with another 560 points up for grabs in the final two rounds. With such tight competition, it’s anyone’s game at this stage.

The RMC Winter Trophy, held annually in Orlando, attracts some of the best karting talent across North America. This year’s event was no exception, with participants pushing their limits in challenging race conditions.
