Rotax Chassis Partners Announced

BRP-Rotax has confirmed the chassis partners for the 2024 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals.

The Formula K kart, produced by IP Karting in Italy, will make its first appearance at the RMCGFs and is the chosen chassis for the 36 Micro MAX drivers.

IPK’s blue Praga chassis returns as the selected kart for the 72 Junior MAX competitors. Praga has been raced at the Grand Finals since the New Orleans edition in 2013.

The red colours of Birel ART will be used by the Mini MAX and DD2 categories. The famous Italian manufacturer has suppled equipment to the Grand Finals since 2011.

One of Birel ART’s other brands, the Charles Leclerc kart, will be used in DD2 Masters.

The Senior MAX class will use Sodikart, a brand that’s been an official chassis partner since 2010. However, the French company did supply the RM1 karts (now the DD2 class) on its debut back in 2004.

All up, these companies will deliver and service almost 400 brand new chassis for this year’s RMCGF, which takes place at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli, Italy, from October 19 to 26.

“We are proud to announce our valued long-time chassis partners as official suppliers to the RMCGF 2024, which we have come to know and trust can deliver on all counts for our world-wide RMC qualified drivers,” said Peter Oelsinger, General Manager BRP-Rotax / Member of the Management Board, Vice President Sales, Marketing RPS-Business & Communications.

“The service, professionalism and technical support provided from each of the three manufacturer teams, combined with the parity and performance of the Rotax engines and E-Powertrains, offers every participant the optimum chance to race on a level playing field. We look forward to welcoming all the teams in Italy, along with the closely-fought racing we can expect from the leading Rotax drivers, as we celebrate 25 years of this amazing event.”
