“Reflecting on our first-round results, I couldn’t be prouder of our drivers.” Jess said. We have been putting in the work behind the scenes, stuck to our guns with kart setup to give both our drivers the best possible opportunity to perform on track. We are quietly confident that this will be a great debut season for us.”

Luca Belardo (KA3 Senior) delivered consistent front running pace throughout the weekend, securing the team’s very first AKC win on debut in the third heat, setting multiple fastest race laps and securing top 3 heat race finishes.

Luca crossed the line in the final in fourth position, finishing 1.9 seconds behind the eventual winner and just 0.134 seconds behind third placegetter. His on-track performance cementing his position as a serious championship contender in the incredibly competitive KA3 Senior category.

“We are getting a lot of support with the new team (JGM). She (Jess) knows a lot – a lot more than people think, and she got the kart hooked for us this weekend.” Luca said.

Johnny Wright, in his debut AKC season and only his second race in KA3 Junior, showcased promising talent. Despite narrowly missing out on making the cut for the final, his determination and skill highlights a bright future for him within the JGM team.
