Healthy Cadet and Junior fields highlighted the opening round of the Gippsland Go Kart club’s 2024 season at Morwell on Sunday.
Numbers were boosted with several drivers running the meeting in preparation for the Golden Power Series round, something that is likely to happen again at the club’s next race day on March 17.
The meeting also saw several of last year’s Cadets moving up to Juniors.
Before racing commenced, a minute of silence was respected in honour of club member and kart racer mum, Dana Wyhoon, who passed away earlier in the week.
