Another cracker night was presented for round 9 of the Ipswich City Dirt Kart Club’s 2023 Championship, attracting 92 entries across the classes.
In the Modified 2-Stroke there was a very competitive field and Quick Nic McDowell managed a win ahead of the tied drivers in second place Brad Young and John Wilkinson.
A few drivers doubled up during the event running in two classes. One of those was John Wilkinson. Having finished tied in second in the two-strokes, he got the win in the Modified 4-Strokes!
Kacey Odger once again showed his class taking the win in a big field of 125cc 2-strokes. Stuart Rouse also had a ripper event taking the win in the Senior 100cc 2-strokes. Rahnee McNae showed excellent form once again taking victory in Juniors Group 2 & coming second in Junior 100cc 2-stroke behind Kallan Manning.
Next event is a mid-week Test-n-Tune on Wednesday the 11th of October, followed by Round 10 of the Championship on the 14th of October.
