How long do you think tyre supply contracts should last in karting? Should they be short term (this could allow switching to a better or alternative product if something became available, but could be difficult to manage for the appointed distributor) or long term (provide stability for the sport and allows distributer to better manage supply). As a reference, Karting Australia’s current slick tyre contracts run for five years (has previously been three).
