More Laps at Morwell

Numbers were up in the Cadet 12 class at the Gippsland Go Kart Club’s July race day on the weekend, 10 drivers of varying experience having some great battles through the field.

The number of laps contested was also increased for this meeting, each class getting four heat races plus a final. The overall points earned for the day decided the trophy results.

The winner in all classes except two enjoyed a clean sweep of victories, however the larger Cadet 12 and KA3 Senior Medium classes were hotly contested throughout the day.

Next event at Morwell is the club day on August 20. The Golden Power Series hits the venue on September 23-24
