The Geelong Kart Club will be hosting a mid-week ‘drop in’ night at its circuit next month. Targeting people who have an interest in getting involved in the sport, the aim is to answer questions and smoothen the journey to becoming a kart racer.
The Open Information night will be held in the GKC clubrooms on Wednesday, August 2 from 6pm to 9pm.
“Just drop in at your leisure and spend as much or little time as you like asking questions of experienced karters from Geelong and get those doubts you have covered off” the club posted.
“Any member that attends and has never raced prior will receive a $20 voucher off their first club event entry. There will also be pizza, tea, coffee and soft drink provided.
“A good idea would be to write down any questions you have so you don’t forget them. It is informal and you can ask whatever you need to.”
