Pro-drift racer Mad Mike (Michael Whiddett) has expressed a new found love – dirt karting.
While competing in a recent drift competition at Queensland Raceway, Mad Mike saw the dirt karts next door. He’s got an older kart in the workshop with a Rotax DD2 on it and has already hit the track and gone racing.
“Dirt kart racing is so cool” he told the event commentator Kev Davies at the Ipswich City Dirt Kart Club’s March race meeting on the weekend.

“This dirt kart racing is a new found love and passion of mine, literally, from last weekend.”
