A number of young karters have been named in Altatek Racing’s new Young Driver Program that was launched on Wednesday.
Kobi Williams, Toby Dvorak and Patrick Buckley are inaugural members of the program with more drivers expected to be announced during the year.
Altatek Racing is a Melbourne-based team that competes in the Victorian and Australian Formula Ford Championships. Williams will spearhead the teams effort in the Australian FF Championship.
Victorian Dvorak was runner up in the 2022 Australian Kart Championship in KA2 while Queenslander Buckley was the 2022 Australian Kart Championship in KA4 Junior.
“The Altatek Young Driver Program will recognise some of Australian motorsport’s best up and coming talent, giving them an opportunity to build their profile in the Australian motorsport landscape and improve their skills both off and on the track” the team said in a press release.
“Young drivers will have access to guidance from Altatek’s team of experienced engineers and driver coaches, as well as learning opportunities in areas including media training, nutrition, mentality, sponsorship and brand development.”
