Remo Luciani has confirmed he’ll be racing hard for at least another year.
The reigning Victorian Champion in KA3 Medium said his 2022 season was one he’ll never forget, losing just one event for the year while competing at State Championship and zonal series level.
“In 2023 I have set myself a high bar to follow” the 62-year-old posted on social media
“I will take this season as it comes as I can only do the best I can.
“I am still serious about my racing and quite enjoy the challenge of remaining at the top, but I know that is only a dream, and it can’t last forever. I will give it my best shot again this year.
“I think this year if I go extremely well, it will push me to continue on for another year and beyond again.
“Life is short and whilst I have the ability of competing at this level and still be competitive I will continue to do so and with the support of people around me it will go a long way to achieving these results.”
All we can say is “Bravo Remo!” and keep showing this sport is not just for the kids.
