Gippsland Twilight Ends Season

A Saturday afternoon twilight meeting concluded the Gippsland Go Kart Club’s competition year at Morwell on December 4.

Aston Hill (Cadet 12) and Grant Wicks (KA3 Senior Medium) both enjoyed a clean sweep in their class, beating their rivals in every one of the five races that made up the day.

Despite this turn-1 off, Aston Hill won every heat in Cadet 12 (pic – Steve Dansie)

The meeting concluded with ‘Challenge’ races (ie, handicaps, progressively faster drivers being released from pit lane straight into racing) for the three age groups Cadets, Juniors and Seniors.
