Lachlan Robinson has secured his fifth straight Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals ticket.
The Australian finished 4th overall in the final round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy at Wackersdorf on the weekend, thus securing 3rd in the Championship and the Grand Finals ticket.
Robinson qualified his KR Sport Kosmic ninth in the 31-kart field and was ranked sixth after a trio of fourth place finishes in the heats. Starting 6th for both Finals, he claimed another 4th in Final One, followed by 5th in Final Two.
“Lochie secured third place in the championship for the second year in a row” his dad informed KartSportNews.
“Lochie will now represent the UAE at the World Finals at Bahrain in December.
“This will be his 5th year in a row he has secured a ticket to the Grand Finals, even though 2020 was eventually cancelled due to Covid.”
