4SS Triple Crown, Round 1

Wow, what a weekend of four-stroke racing!

After being asked many times by the 4SS drivers to have another Triple Crown this year, we agreed and with Ken Munro coming on board as the title sponsor (Coolum Karts), we went in search of three great tracks. Then, with the blessing of the president of Ipswich Kart Club (Scott Cleveland), round one was born in conjunction with their own, very successful 4SS Titles.

Ippy’s previous largest 4SSs meeting was 46 entries back in 2020, so to go way past that and get 66 entries – “an Australian record” – was amazing.

Round 2 & 3 are at Warwick and Cooloola, and if this meeting was anything to go by they will be amazing.

The racing was fantastic with changeable weather giving it extra spice, the videos speak for them selves and there are thousands of photos from the event, although we have to say the champagne didn’t go down so well with just two winning groups choosing to spray the bubbly! Hahahaha.
