The sad passing of Melbourne karter Adam Pasek earlier in the week has led to an outpouring of grief and tributes on social media. We have published a small selection below for the benefit of those who don’t use the platform.

This is not an easy post. We were absolutely shocked and devastated to hear that early this week we lost one of the nicest guys we have ever had the privilege of knowing and racing with.
Adam Pasek was always a welcomed part of our team for many years and he always brought along with him a huge smile and a happy personality! He was always happy to be at the track with his mates regardless of if he was racing or not and it didn’t matter if he was first or last, he always had a smile as he just loved driving his go kart!
Our deepest condolences are with the Pasek family and girlfriend Zoe during this difficult time.

Oakleigh Go Kart Club
It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Adam Pasek in a tragic accident earlier this week.
Adam was a member of the club for many years, racing in Juniors and Seniors. Never to be seen without a smile on his face, Adam had that special ability to bring his joy and happiness to all those around him.
On behalf of the club I would like to offer our deepest condolences to the Pasek family, Adam’s girlfriend Zoe and to his many, many friends in the karting community.

Words honestly fail me right now. Completely devastated to hear the tragic news that earlier this week we lost one of the most genuinely kind and caring young blokes that I’ve had the pleasure to know.
Adam Pasek would always brighten the day with a friendly chat in the pits or an excited wave to the camera on the out lap. Forever excited to be trackside whether it was to race or just to watch his mates battle it out. To lose someone so young and so suddenly is shattering for the entire kart community.
My sincerest condolences to the Pasek family, Walker family and to all of Adam’s mates. Thinking of you all in this unimaginably distressing time. As a community let’s wrap our arms around them all and help them get through this.
