Club To Create Memorial for Late Member

The Combined Districts Kart Club is looking to create a memorial at the Lithgow circuit in recognition of long serving member Russell Grimson who passed away last month.

In light of the “significant contributions made by Russell over many years to our sport” the Combined Districts Kart Club recognizes the sport is underpinned by the voluntary efforts by many people such as Russell.

Club members have made suggestions such as the framing of a pink CDKC Ladies meeting shirt along with a copy of the ‘Karting Eulogy’ and other items of memorabilia.

The club has been advised its plans for a memorial display will cost around $450.

As such, CDKC is seeking donations from anyone wishing to contribute and has set up a GoFundMe page for the purpose – see HERE to make a donation.
