Best-Of 2020: FIA Karting Rookie of The Year

from FIA Karting

At the end of each season since 2017, the CIK-FIA has established a specific classification for Drivers up to 16 years old participating in the FIA Karting World Championship and the FIA Karting European Championship in the OK category for the first time. The aim is to showcase the young talents who emerge from their first season at the highest level of racing.

Once again this year, around thirty Drivers met these criteria. The Italian Andrea Kimi Antonelli particularly distinguished himself in this context.

Despite his injury during the World Championship Final in Portimao, he was named 2020 Rookie of the Year thanks to his convincing results in the FIA Karting European Championship – OK.
