Top Job Change – The Motorsport Australia Board has elected Andrew Fraser to be the organisation’s President from 1 January 2021. This follows the announcement that current President Andrew Papadopoulos will retire, effective 31 December 2020. Fraser has been a lifelong motorsport fan and was appointed to the Motorsport Australia Board in 2019.

“I’m honoured to have the unanimous support of Motorsport Australia to serve as President and Chair,” Fraser said in a statement. “I am committed to growing our grassroots events. Now is the time to focus on our own backyard to ensure we have the fundamentals in place for the future.” Motorsport Australia’s next Board election is scheduled for October 2021.


Dave’s Podcast – The latest episode of Dave Sera’s Swapping Paint is now available where he chats to New Zealand F2 driver Marcus Armstrong. Armstrong began his career in karts, including a European campaign with factory Tony Kart Racing Team in the KZ category. Listen to the podcast HERE. Over the coming weeks, Sera plans to talk with Formula 1 racer Nicholas Latifi and two-time Le Mans 24 Hour winner Earl Bamber.
