Registrations for drivers wishing to compete at the 2018 Race of Stars on the Gold Coast, Queensland are now open.
The first round of invites, issued to the leading contenders in the various Championships and Series’ across Australia, were distributed earlier this month.
Of the 166 drivers invited in the initial round, more than 100 have confirmed their invitation to the prestigious event.
“Every year the interest level for drivers wanting to receive an invite to the event has increased which not only increases the number of drivers but also the level of talented drivers in action,” said Event Manager Lee Hanatschek.
“This year will be the biggest ever event and we look forward to showcase the best kart racers from all across Australia and various parts of the globe.”
Drivers who didn’t receive an invite through the first round, but wish to compete at the event, are required to complete the Registration Form available HERE.
Interested drivers have until Friday August 10 to register their interest in the event. Successful drivers will then have their invites confirmed shortly after that date.
Only invited drivers are eligible to compete and these drivers can only compete in the Classes they have been invited in. The invitation is not transferable to another driver.
As has been the case in previous years, there is no pre-event testing at the venue allowed by any invited competitor after Monday July 30.
The Supplementary Regulations for this event will be available in the near future. Entries will open shortly after.
