Cooloola Kart Club hosted the SQ Series round 1 at the weekend, 62 karters making the journey up the Bruce Highway. A great 2 days of racing was had by all. The interviews, the races and the podium pictures are all below.

It was fantastic weather, very clean racing and some stand out battles from Cadet 9 drivers Jaxson Burns, Jenson Burns and Jackson Cooper will get your blood pumping!

KA3 Senior Light podium –
1st Daley Martin, 2nd Dale Zimmerman, 3rd Robert Reid

Kurtis Tennant, Blake “The Rocket” Locket and birthday boy Jack Munro had a blast with a big field in KA4 Juniors.

Lachlan Platten has found a new way to win – lock him in a trailer accidentally just before racing starts and he will come out and blitz the field, check that out!

Paul McNeil had a ding dong battle all weekend long with Allan Mayes. Jace Mathews was unstoppable in the TaG Light class and Tommy Cooper once again dominated the KA3 Juniors!

Cadet 9 podium – 1st Jaxson Burns, 2nd Jenson Burns, 3rd Jackson Cooper

Daley martin got the job done in KA3 Senior after great battles all weekend long. Bazza Mendleson eventually got the got on song and showed the Masters how it’s done while the flying Peter Patswald got the top step in the Mediums.
