Lots of Newcomers at Frogs Hollow

from Tam Prime

Sapphire Coast Kart Club has held its first round for 2020 on March 1st.

The club had a few members represented at the National title round in SA on the same weekend with Ryan DeBorre, Blake Motbey and Aidan Williams all putting in a solid effort at that event.

Meanwhile back at SCKC, Cadet 12 saw a determined group take to the track. Racing was close and fast with Brody Radford taking out first place followed by Mitch Love in second and newcomer to the club, Liam Finney, in third place in a great first race meet at Sapphire.

Jacob Prime took out first place in cadet 9.

In KA4 Light, first place went to Liam Walther with Annabella Hutchinson in second for her first ever kart race.

The senior class, TaG 125 Restricted, was very competitive all day. The pace was set by Micheal Platts who took out a very solid first place, followed by Simon Hutchinson in second and Kayne Foster in third, both making their debut racing karts.

SCKC are still on the look out forvolunteers with an interest in helping with the official side of our race days.

Bring on April 4th/5th where the club will hold our popular 10 heat meet!! You won’t wanna miss it!
