The 2026 Karting World Championship for OK and Junior will not be held in Bahrain as planned.
FIA Karting confirmed that due to the logistical challenges associated with the ongoing geopolitical situation in the Gulf, the event has been relocated to Italy, specifically the La Conca circuit across November 5 to 8 (subject to approval by the World Motor Sport Council).
“We would like to thank Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) for their ongoing cooperation and support in recent months as we explored every possibility to stage the event in the Kingdom this year” FIA Karting stated.
