Victorian racer Alana Gurney has confirmed she will contest the entire three-round FIA Arrive & Drive Asia-Pacific Championship.
“So excited for this new experience, I’ll be taking in every single moment!” Gurney posted.
“We kick off in June at the Macau-Coloane circuit. Big thanks to FIA Women in Motorsport for the invitation
& playing a massive part. Also to my team/sponsors Racer Industries and Blanchard Racing Team for helping make it happen!”
The opening round is in Macau on June 19-21, followed by Zhuzho, China (July 24-26) and Madras, India (September 11-13).
Under the Arrive and Drive format, each competitor uses standardised karts. For the European and Asia-Pacific Championships the equipment is Kosmic Mercury chassis with Vortex SV engines (provided by OTK Group) running on Vega tyres.
