Having dominated the event, William Calleja struggled to a 20th place finish in the OK final at the Valencia Champions Of The Future round on the weekend.

The Parolin driver qualified third fastest, then took a string of four heat wins before a 7.7-second victory in his Super Heat.

Starting pole in the final, it was clear off the line Calleja was down on speed, swamped into turn 1 then losing more positions as the race progressed.

Conversely, James Anagnostiadis enjoyed a strong comeback, taking eighth in the OK final having earlier qualified 35th. His drives in the Super Heat (6th) and final see him placed second in the championship behind Dutch Parolin driver Dean Hoogendorn. There are three more rounds to go.

official event wrap – Champions Of the Future

After four demanding days in Valencia, Round 2 of the series reached its climax with Finals that perfectly reflected the intensity of the weekend. From dry running to changing conditions, from tightly contested heats to decisive Superheats, every phase built toward Sunday’s showdowns. By the time the grids formed, margins were already minimal — and with early title momentum on the line, the Finals carried added weight, not just for race victories, but for the direction of the title fights after two rounds.

In Junior, Will Green delivered when it mattered most, taking victory in a hard-fought Final to close out the weekend on top form.

Behind him, Priam Bruno secured second place, maintaining his consistency across both rounds, while Oskari Walle completed the podium after another strong performance that reinforces his position among the leading contenders. Just behind, Niccolò Perico and Antonio Pizzonia rounded out the top five in a race where margins remained tight throughout.

With two rounds complete, the title picture in Junior is beginning to take shape. Priam Bruno continues to lead the standings, but with Julian Frasnelli, Oskari Walle, and now Will Green all closing in, the fight at the top is tightening rapidly.

OK

In OK, Noah Baglin secured victory in a thrilling Final, leading home Niklas Schaufler and Viktor Gustafsson after a race that remained on edge until the closing laps.

With rain threatening in the final stages, conditions added tension but ultimately did not disrupt the outcome, allowing the leading group to fight it out cleanly to the flag.

Behind the podium, Benjamin Manach and Aaron Garcia Lopez completed the top five, while a tightly packed field saw minimal gaps across the top ten. Notably, title contenders including Dean Hoogendoorn, James Anagnostiadis, and Lev Krutoholov remained firmly in the mix despite finishing just outside the podium positions.

OK winner, Noah Baglin

In the standings, Dean Hoogendoorn holds the advantage after two rounds, but the gap remains narrow. With James Anagnostiadis and Lev Krutoholov close behind, and race winner Noah Baglin gaining ground, the title fight is wide open heading into the next event.
