The April club day race meeting saw another increase in entry numbers for the Gippsland Go Kart Club, 46 drivers hitting the track across nine categories across six track groups.

Largest class of the day was KA3 Junior Heavy (11 entries), Hayden Spiteri the top scorer after winning the third heat and the final.

The next event at Morwell is the club day on May 17, which is the last chance to shakedown prior to the Golden Power Series round at the venue on June 13-14.

It was the final race in juniors for Jonah Ingram, third overall in Junior Heavy here leading the class runner-up, Harry Jones (pic – Steve Dansie)
