Rotax has been forced to change the date of this year’s Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Final.

The event will still take place at the Portimão circuit in Portugal, however it will now be two weeks earlier on November 7 to 14 instead of November 21 to 28.

The re-schedule is the result of recent changes in the international motorsport calendar and an adjustment of the MotoGP schedule.

“While a change like this always comes with challenges, we also see clear advantages in the new
timing” BRP-Rotax said in a statement.

“The earlier date provides more daylight for on-track activities and we expect improved
weather conditions, supporting an even better racing experience for all participants.

“At the same time, we are aware that this adjustment impacts the Rotax racing calendar worldwide
and may create challenges for some national and international series. However, under the given circumstances, this rescheduling represents the only viable solution.”

The RMC Grand Finals is the highlight of the Rotax racing season, bringing together the best Rotax
drivers from around the world who have qualified through their respective RMC series and pits them against each other on identical equipment.
