RPM Karting will take over the running and infrastructure of the DPE race team and has already signed one of Australian karting’s most decorated drivers for 2026.
“When we came on board with DPE and our new shop selling Arrow, FA Kart and DAP chassis, the discussion quickly turned to racing” explained RPM Karting founder and Team Manager, Roger Polak.

“DPE asked me how far I wanted to go with the racing side. I immediately said to them, ‘All the way!’. So, we did a deal to run the DPE products as a race team with their support as manufacturer.”
First driver confirmed to run under the RPM banner in the 2026 Australian Kart Championship is WA legend, Kip Foster.
“As soon as I heard that KIP wanted to come with us for the AKC, I was very keen to make that happen” Polak said.
“Kip is one of the most experienced karters in Australian racing, with vast experience in OS competition too. Not to mention he is still bloody fast! Kip will also bring some of his customers to RPM Karting to run the AKC.”
“DPE was excited when the opportunity to have RPM Karting run a professional team while supporting our brands looked possible” DPE’s Steve Gawne added.
“Roger has a long history of success in the sport and looking good to repeat the process. Then having Kip Foster be involved was another great result!”
The RPM Karting race team will offer trackside support ranging from mechanical help to data analysis, kart transport, plus arrive-and-drive deals.
The team will be doing everything from Oakleigh club days to Vic Country and Power Series, State Championships, AKC and other select events.
