Regional champions recognized for Superkarts! USA and International Kart Federation program

The Texas Sprint Racing Series wrapped up its 10th season during the season finale in October at the Dallas Karting Complex. The fifth and final round of the 2025 schedule decided the champions for the Superkarts! USA and International Kart Federation regional program, crowning 10 title winners. On the year, the TSRS program welcomed over 900 entries over the five weekends in categories featuring the IAME and Briggs & Stratton 206 powerplants.

The KA100 Senior presented by CRG class welcomed a new champion after five rounds of battle on the season. Four different drivers won over the first four rounds of the series, including Jose Carlos Hernandez. The driver from Mexico was able to come through with a second victory on the season at the series finale, locking in his first series championship. A slim 26 points separated him and 2024 champion Jesus Vasquez Jr. The California driver won at Round Four but only managed two other podium results on the year. Peyton Phillips – the 2023 TSRS Champion – finished third in the standings, out of first by only 98 points. Phillips went winless in 2025, gaining two podium results in five races.

For a second straight year, Tyrone Kemper Jr. claimed the title in KA100 Junior presented by P1 Engines. Kemper improved his score in 2025, winning three times and standing on the podium in all five rounds to win the championship by 155 points. Nathan Golseth improved from fifth in 2024 to runner-up in 2025, placing on the podium in four rounds including victory at the season finale. David Ybarra ended up on the championship for a second straight year as well. For 2025, Ybarra finished third in the standings with two podium results.

The Briggs 206 Senior presented by Slipstream Racing category welcomed the sixth different champion over the last six seasons. North Carolina driver Christopher McKeithan used his two wins over the five rounds to help him claim the 2025 title. Four time podium finisher and Round One winner Ragan Saville ended up second in the standings, only 23 points behind. Kelvin Xing improved from fourth in 2024 to end up third in 2025, one of the four different winners on the season.

Another two win driver was able to claim the championship in the Briggs 206 Junior presented by TB Kart USA. Sawyer Chambers opened the season with a victory and won Round Three, holding onto the series championship lead to the end to claim his first series title in the category, going with his 2023 crown in Mini Swift. Only 45 points back was Rodrigo Polaya, who won Round two and finished on the podium at the final two rounds. Levi Meador won the series finale to move himself up to third on the championship podium.

Only two drivers have won the Hi5 Performance KA100 Master championship over the last five seasons. Pierce Baldus was able to defend his crown from 2024, securing a second championship. Baldus won twice with two runner-up finishes to claim the title by 85 points over three-time series champion Miguel Mier. The title winner from 2021 to 2023 had three podium results to start the season, including a win at Round Two to finish second in the championship standings. Brent Harper improved from fifth to third in the championship standings, picking up victory at the opening round of 2025.

Aston Wyatt became the second two-time champion in 206 Cadet presented by Speed Concepts Racing, matching the total of 2020-2021 double champion Ragan Saville. Wyatt, the 2023 champion, was runner-up in 2024 and was able to use two wins and four podium results to claim the 2025 championship. The advantage at the end of the standings was 100 points over Clayton Stiles. After missing the opening round, Stiles won back-to-back races to help him finish the standings in second. Brody Stoffle was also on the podium four times on the year, ending up third overall in the championship chase.

Tanner Barsch added his name to the list of champions in Mini Swift presented by Alan Rudolph Racing Academy. Barsch completed his first full season in the category with three wins over the five rounds, earning the championship by 58 points. Round Two winner Colton Schniegenberg had four podium results in four starts, coming up just short in the standings race. Aston Wyatt improved one spot from last year’s standings, finishing the year with two runner-up results in the five rounds.

Three wins in four rounds helped Brody Stoffle to clinch the Micro Swift presented by Gallery Furniture championship early in 2025. Stoffle skipped the series finale in the category and ended up winning the title by 100 points in the final standings. Round One winner Tyler Blackwood stood on the podium four times to place runner-up, improving from fourth last year. Shepp Sullivan celebrated four podium results in the final four rounds to finish third in the title chase.

Aden Rudolph claimed his first TSRS championship in Shifters presented by Arcane Motorsports. Rudolph won twice on the year, winning the championship by 125 points over series finale winner John Melchiorri. Noah Zarsk ended up third in the standings. Three wins to close out the season gave Vettel Baker the championship in Briggs 206 Kid Karts presented by GR2 Motorsports. Round One winner Wylen Galeano finished 107 points back in second while Round Two victor Maverick Reddick was third in the final standings.

The Texas Sprint Racing Series has confirmed the five rounds for the 2026 season. The schedule is similar to that of 2025, except for two trips to the Speedsportz Racing Park facility, including the season opener and finale with no night races slated for the 11th season. 2026 season number reservations and series packages is already open. Number renewals remains open until December 9 before any unrenewed numbers will be released to the general public. The 2026 TSRS Series Package includes entry to all five events, hard card, and number reservation at $1,295 – a savings of $230. Smaller TSRS Series Packages of four race credits ($967) and three race credits ($768).
